BluRide Transport Safety Rules
Be respectful to other riders, driver, people who are not on the bus, property & yourself.
ONLY Registered Riders shall ride the van.
Waiting for pick up
Be at your assigned pick-up stop five minutes before we are scheduled to depart.
Stay off the road, and do not throw things in or around pick up area.
Wait until the van comes to a complete stop AND the door is open before approaching the van.
Boarding the Van
Form a single line as you walk onto the van.
Respect personal space between yourself and the student ahead of you.
Go to your seat and sit down. Students may be assigned to a specific seat.
Small items may be carried onto the bus (including musical instruments) if they will fit under the seat or in your lap. If the driver thinks an items will block the aisle, floor space, or seat it will not be allowed.
Do not bring items that could cause harm. Examples include but are not limited to: alcohol, animals, bikes, drugs, explosive items, glass, laser pointers, lighters, matches, strong smelling sprays or liquids, tobacco products or vapes, and weapons (real or fake). The driver has the authority to secure objects of concern.
On the Van
Follow the driver's instructions.
Sit facing forward with your back against the seat and your seatbelt on. Keep your legs, feet and personal belongings out of the aisle. Do not sit sideways or turn around in your seat.
Put your backpack on your lap or on the floor in front of you.
Keep your belongings INSIDE your backpack.
Use the garbage can, not the floor for any trash.
Use a quiet voice when talking to other riders.
Do not eat or drink on the bus. (*Cleaning fee of $100 will apply*)
Leaving the Van
The van will pull up to the driveway, please wait until it comes to a complete stop before leaving your seat.
Exit the van carefully and make sure you have all your belongings.
